This usually takes 2-3 days. You Can Log into the Business Communication account from this link: [https://business-communications.cloud.google.com/console/partner-console](https://business-communications.cloud.google.com/console/partner-console)  # *[Image]* --- ### Create an Agent **What is an agent?** An agent in the context of an RCS-enabled messaging app is a virtual representative of a business or a specific department within that business. It acts as a point of contact for users, facilitating communication and interactions. For instance, let's say you have Growing Tree Bank, and you want to implement agents within the Messages app. You could create a single agent representing the entire bank, allowing users to engage with different departments like Customer Care or Mortgages through that one interface. Alternatively, you could create separate agents for each department within the bank. For instance, you might have distinct agents for Customer Care and Mortgages, each focusing solely on its specific area. These agents would display department-specific information and branding. **Step 1: **Create an agent.  *[Image]* **Step 2:** Provide necessary Agent Information. This information is displayed to customers in RCS conversations. RBM agents use the RCS Business Messaging (RBM) API to send messages, events, and other requests to users. When you create an agent, you enable access to the RBM API and define your agent's name and region. ### Identify the agent's region The RBM API supports [three regional endpoints](https://developers.google.com/business-communications/rcs-business-messaging/reference/rest) to help businesses comply with regional and business requirements. RBM agents can exist in one of three regions: - North America - Europe - Asia Pacific When you create your agent, choose its region based on the applicable regulations, requirements, and proximity to end users. Note that region is not country specific. It identifies the area that your agent operates in. Google uses this information to determine where to store message data and how to route message traffic appropriately. Note: You can't change your agent's region after you create your agent. ### Determine the agent's Billing Category Carriers that approve RBM content on their networks also bill for delivering RBM messages to their subscribers using this billing framework: - **Conversational** - - A charge for a conversation that consists of multiple A2P and P2A messages within a given time period. - This agent engages in complex user interactions where messages are exchanged in both directions. - **Single Message** -  - A charge for a single message containing rich RBM content (such as a message containing a Rich Card or Carousel). - This agent generally sends rich messages and seldom expects to receive replies. - **Basic Message** -  - A charge for a plain text message of up to 160 characters. - When you create your agent, choose the Billing Category that most closely matches the behavior of your agent logic: - This agent implements SMS upgrade to RBM and seldom expects to receive replies. Generally, the agent is expected to send plain text messages of up to 160 characters. The agent is not restricted and can send richer content if desired, and will be billed accordingly if so. **Note**: The following two categories never create conversational billing events. Carriers will charge a Basic Message or Single Message price for each message, depending on the delivered content. > **Recommendation: **We recommend you choose the Conversational billing category to use in this SMS-Magic Converse desk.  ### **Identify the agent's use case** Each RBM agent is required to have a predefined use case that reflects the nature of the conversations it is intended to have with end users and to help businesses comply with business rules. RBM supports four use cases: - OTP: One-time passwords required to securely authenticate an account or confirm a transaction - Transactional: Notifications, updates or alerts to share information directly relevant to a customer's existing services or products, such as alerts for suspicious account activities, purchase confirmations, and shipping notifications. - Promotional: Sales, marketing, and promotional messages to new or existing customers, with an objective to increase awareness, engagement, and sales. - Multi-use: Conversational flows that combine transactional and promotional use cases, such as sending an account notification and then offering a discount or upgrade for a new product and service. **Note**: You cannot change the use case once it is submitted to your agent for launch. Please review use cases and business rules for your country before submitting it to your agent. > **Recommendation: **We recommend you to choose the Conversational billing category to use in this SMS-Magic Converse desk.  *[Image]* *[Image]* The provided Agent information will be displayed to the customer under the info & options section. ## Create a Service Key  The Services Key serves as the means to dispatch messages and events as your representative through SMS-Magic. To enable API calls, authentication is required using a service account key alongside the Services Key. When sending messages via SMS-Magic, the service key serves the purpose of identifying the specific agent responsible for delivering messages to customers, ensuring that the messages reach the intended recipients through the designated agent profile you've set up. - Create a Service account. Create a key. When you create a key, you will download a JSON file with this information. - This will be used to identify the agent and his information. # *[Image]* ## Test connection - Click on **Devices** to test the RCS.  - To add a test device, enter the device's phone number, including the country code, and the area code. - To add multiple numbers, separate phone numbers with commas. # *[Image]* A test message is sent to the device  # *[Image]* Click on ‘Make me a Tester’ to test. When the number status becomes ready in the RCS you can send rich cards and conversational messages to the number. ## Subscribe for the messages Click on Integrations, Go to Cloud Pub/Sub *[Image]* - Click Edit Subscription - Change the delivery type to **'Push’ **with this URL: Provided URL with the Production Servers you use. - AUS: [https://aus-api.sms-magic.com/messages/incoming/rcs/magicrcs](https://aus-api.sms-magic.com/messages/incoming/rcs/magicrcs) - EU: [https://eu.api.sms-magic.com/messages/incoming/rcs/magicrcs](https://eu.api.sms-magic.com/messages/incoming/rcs/magicrcs) - USA: [https://api.sms-magic.com/messages/incoming/rcs/magicrcs](https://api.sms-magic.com/messages/incoming/rcs/magicrcs) - Provide the Webhook Endpoint URL - Click Verify  *[Image]*  - You can see the Delivery Type changed to Push with the webhook URL  *[Image]* ## Verification and launch To initiate the launch process, provide the following information in the Launch questionnaire *[Image]* **Proof of opt-in**: Provide the source of your opt-in customer data.
