### Send Messages in Zoho

You can either send a message to a single record from your Leads or Contacts, or you can select multiple records of Leads or Contacts and send a text message to all those recipients at once.

For more details refer to the section on **Send Single/Bulk SMS** in the Zoho Product Guide.

### Upgrade the Application

SMS-Magic does not support automatic upgrades. We will send Upgrade notifications to your registered email address. Contact the Customer support team for more information.

We recommend that you regularly update your setup to take advantage of the new features and enhancements. We make sure that our upgrades are backward compatible so that you do not face any issues during the upgrade process.

### Export Incoming and Outgoing Messages

Download the SMS logs, both incoming and Outgoing messages for the specified period, from the SMS-Magic portal. If required, you can export the SMS log from Zoho CRM as well. Follow the given procedure:

1. On the top right corner of the Zoho CRM home page, click *[Image]*. The Setup page appears.
2. Under **Data Administration**, click **Export**. The Export Data page appears.
3. Under **Select Export** **Module**, select **SMS History** in the drop-down list.
4. Click **Export**.

### FAQs

1. **Can I Send SMS from Custom objects (e.g. Students, Jobs etc) using SMS-Magic?**

Yes, you can send SMS to any object in Zoho.

1. **Can the recipients reply to our outgoing text? If yes, where can we see the Incoming messages?**

Yes, recipients can reply to the outgoing SMS. To do so, you need to procure an Incoming number from SMS-Magic.

You can view all the responses in the SMS History module with a direction value displayed as IN. Responses can also be viewed under an SMS History related list available on the record layout.

Additionally, all response gets logged in SMS Magic portal as well as under the Responses tab within the Campaign module.

1. **How does Bulk Texting Work? What is the Limit for bulk texting?**

You can perform bulk texting in different ways while working in the Zoho platforms: In Zoho, we provide the Send Bulk SMS button on the module’s list view to send messages to multiple records. You can send messages to 100 records simultaneously.

1. **SMS-Magic Portal**

We also provide the feature of running campaigns from SMS-Magic portal by uploading the CSV file.

1. **How many times can I send the same message to one person?**

In Zoho, we have a validation rule on our end that restricts sending of the same text to the same number in 24 hours. You can send only one message to a single mobile number in the 24-hour window.
