How to Integrate SMS Magic with Zoho Recruit

In this video, we will see how to integrate SMS Magic with Zoho Recruit. Follow the steps below to complete the integration:

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Log into Zoho Recruit and navigate to the home page.

2. Click on the Settings (gear icon) at the top right corner.

3. Click on Setup, then search for Telephony on the setup page.

4. In the Telephony section, click on SMS Gateway.

5. Click on Setup under SMS Text Messaging Gateway.

6. Click on the Integrate button next to SMS Magic. A new window will open asking for a username, account ID, API key, and phone number.

7. Log into the SMS Magic portal and navigate to the Get Started page to retrieve the required information:

   • Username: Copy the user email address from the SMS Magic portal and paste it into the Zoho Recruit tab.
   • Account ID: Copy the account ID from the Get Started page and paste it into the Zoho Recruit tab.
   • API Key: Copy the API key from the SMS Magic portal and paste it into the Zoho Recruit tab.
   • Phone Number: This refers to the sender ID. Navigate to the SMS Magic portal, click on Settings, then SMS Services, and find the My Sender ID option. Copy the sender ID and paste it into the Zoho Recruit tab.

8. Click on the Authenticate and Save button. A message will confirm that the authentication is successful.

9. Configure the mobile field by choosing either Phone or Mobile. Select Mobile if your contacts and candidates' numbers are stored in the mobile field. Click on Update.

10. Now, SMS Magic is integrated with Zoho Recruit. To send an SMS through Zoho Recruit:

    • Navigate to the Candidates module.
    • Select any candidate and click on the checkbox next to their name.
    • Click on the toolbar with three dots and select Send SMS.
    • Click on the Send SMS button. You can choose an SMS template and provide the job opening details.
    • Click on the Send button. A message will confirm that the SMS has been successfully sent.

11. To verify if the SMS was sent successfully, go to the SMS Magic portal, click on Campaign Drop, and then Message History. Here, you can see the sent messages.
