Steps to Create a Single SMS Button on the Custom/Standard Module
Navigate to Module Settings:
Go to Setup → Under Customization, select the Modules & Fields tab.
Under the Module tab, locate and select "Module - Leads/Patients"
Click on the "Links and Buttons" tab.
Click on "+ New Button."
Configure Button Details:
Name: Single_SMS_Button_Patient
Description: Button for sending a single SMS from the Patient module.
Placement: Select "Details Page" (The button will be available inside each record).
Choose Button Visibility (Optional):
Details Page: The button will be accessible within each record.
List View – Each Record: The button will appear in the List View for each record. If not visible, add it to the Canvas of the module's list view.
List View Mass Action Menu: The button will be available for bulk messaging when selecting multiple records.
Define Button Action:
Choose "Invoke a URL" (Always select this option).
Retrieve the URL from the Standalone Portal:
Go to Get Started → Step 3 - Configure → Button Configuration.
Select Module: Patient.
Choose Phone Field: (Ask the customer which field stores the phone number).
Click Generate Send SMS URL.
Copy the generated URL.
Paste the copied URL into Zoho CRM, where the button is being created.
Assign Button Visibility:
Select the profiles that should have access to the button (e.g., Sales, Administrator).
Confirm with the customer which profiles should see the button.
Save the Button Configuration.
