Restricted Keyword Set-Up

Overview

The Custom Keyword Filter feature in SMS-Magic allows businesses to define and block specific keywords in outgoing messages. This is crucial for ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining professionalism, and preventing the transmission of sensitive or inappropriate information.

Steps to Add Custom Keywords for Restriction in SMS-Magic

Step 1: Navigate to the Settings Page SMS Services

  • Log in to your SMS-Magic account.

  • From the top navigation bar, click on the Settings>SMS Services tab.

Step 2: Access the Restricted Keywords Section

  • In the Settings page, locate the left sidebar menu.

  • Under the MODERATION section, click on Restricted Keyword.

Step 3: Add Keywords to the Restricted List

  1. Click on the Add Keyword button in the Restricted Keyword section.

  2. A pop-up window will appear with a field to enter keywords.

  3. In the pop-up window, type the keywords you want to restrict.

  4. Press Enter after typing each keyword to add it to the list.

  5. Once all desired keywords are entered, click the Add button to save them.


Step 4: Verify the Keywords List

  1. After adding the keywords, they will be listed in the Restricted Keyword section.

  2. Ensure that all the keywords you entered are displayed correctly.

  3. The currently limit of number of word is 10 you can get more words by requesting us at care@screen-magic.com

Sync the words to Salesforce

  • After the words are added they will sync back into your Salesforce account.

  • You can find them in converse settings --> conversations --> Moderation

Your set-up as been completed from now when ever an agent try to use this in there message it will block them from sending.
