App Installation From App Exchange
Login to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
On successful login, click on the AppExchange from the Menu
On the AppExchange page, search for “SMS-Magic for Salesforce Marketing Cloud” and navigate to the app page.
Click on the “Get it Now” button to install the app into your org.
It will request details and share information with the provider. Once you click on "Contact Me," it will send a confirmation.
After confirmation, log in to Marketing Cloud, go to setup, and navigate to the URL provided by the SMS Magic team.
Click on the “Install” button, and you will get a popup to agree and click on the “Agree” button from the popup.
Once the app is installed, you will be shown this page where you can provide access to the app.
Click on “License All Users” to provide access to all licensed users in the org, and click on the “License All” button in the popup.
Once all the steps are done, you should be able to see the “SMS Magic(Powered by Conversive) for Marketing Cloud” app in the Installed Packages option under the Apps in Setup.
App Installation Verification Step
Login into MC
Navigate to "Contact Builder" from the option below "Audience Builder"
Navigate to "Data Extensions" tab from the "Contact Builder" screen
Click on "Shared Items" node on the left hand tree and select the child node "Shared Data Extensions" node
If the "Shared Items" is not found, select the node "Data Extensions".
On the right hand side, select the following data extensions:SMSMagicData
SMSMagicData_Configuration
SMSMagicData_Messages_History
The SMSMagicData_Configuration data extension should have 1 record.
Connecting the App to SMS Magic
In SMS-Magic (https://app.sms-magic.com), click the Integration tab.
Choose Marketing Cloud from the available integration options.
