SMS Magic with Various Zoho Apps

    If you already have an account with the SMS providers “Screen Magic” supported by Zoho Creator you can add a new connection using the username, password, account id or api key of your account, depending on the service provider.

    Add a new connection

    To add a new SMS connection,

    1. Click on Add Connection in the Connection drop-down.

    1. Choose “Screen Magic” as an SMS Provider from the list of service providers listed in the "Add Connections" page.

    1. Specify a unique connection name.

    2. Specify the other parameter values like username, password, account id, api key etc. 

    1. Click on Submit.

    Once a connection is added, it can be used to integrate your Zoho Creator application with the respective cloud service. You can then perform various actions like add records, fetch records, search for records etc. from the connected cloud service.


    Goto Home to access the existing applications → Click on “Edit” against the application.




    Click on “Dashboard” from applications 


    then click on  “Settings” against the form for which you want to start SMS notifications.





    • From “Form Settings” select the option as “Notifications” → SMS

    • From “SMS” option click on “Enable SMS Notification” 

    • Select the connection as “SMS” which you have created in earlier steps.

    • Select the mobile number field on which you want to send SMS notification from drop down against “To”.

    • Setup template and click on “Save”


    Once the connection is created and linked with the application form, customer will receive SMS notification on new record creation with the form & also on updation of record from application report.
