In this guide, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of upgrading your package version. Whether you're an existing user or new to our platform, keeping your package version up-to-date ensures you have access to the latest enhancements, bug fixes, and functionalities, empowering you to make the most out of your experience. By following the instructions outlined in this guide, you'll seamlessly upgrade your package version for both Production and sandbox accounts directly from the workspace. Let's dive in and get started!

SMS Magic Converse and Campaign Launcher both will be updated with this process.

Note: This upgrade process is for users with version 1.68 and above. Users with version 1.68 and below are advised to contact our support team for assistance here at care@sms-magic.com

Upgrade Package Version Guide

Step 1: Access Workspace

• Navigate to your workspace where you can see all your connected accounts.

Step 2: Locate Current SMS Magic App Version

• Expand the card associated with your current package version.

• Check beside the SMS Magic App version for the upgrade option.

• You can conveniently upgrade your package version directly from your account details page, accessible by clicking on the account card within your workspace.

Step 3: Initiate Upgrade

• Click on the "Upgrade" option.

Step 4: Confirmation Pop-up

• A pop-up window will appear confirming your decision to upgrade.

• In the pop-up, you'll find a "To Learn More about latest version" link. Click on it to access detailed information about the latest version, including new features and enhancements, in the documentation center.

Step 5: Upgrade Prompt

• Within the pop-up, you'll also find a call-to-action button. Clicking on this button will initiate the upgrade process.

Step 6: Upgrade in Process

• The upgrade process will commence and you will see the ‘Upgrade in process’ Status. This may take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Please be patient during this time.

Step 7: Upgrade Successful Confirmation

• Once the upgrade is successfully completed, you'll be able to see status as "Install and configured."

• Additionally, you'll receive an email containing detailed information about your upgrade, ensuring you're informed about the upgrade package version of both SMS Magic Converse and Campaign Launcher.

Step 8: Upgrade Failed

• In the rare event that the upgrade process fails, you can click "Try Again" to reinitiate the upgrade process.
